QuickTaxnBooks came out of a tax practice, not a software pitch deck. We know what the second week of April feels like — and we build for that week, not for a demo.
Why we exist
Tax offices don't need more software. They need fewer places to look.
Most practices we meet are running on four or five tools that don't speak to each other: a phone, an email inbox, a folder of scanned documents, a spreadsheet tracking who's where, and a separate calendar. None of it is broken exactly. It just leaks time — a few minutes at a stretch, several hundred times a season.
We built one system that holds all of it: the number clients call, the inbox every message lands in, the portal they upload to, the board that tracks their return, and the automations that chase what's missing. One place to look, one place to update, one place that stays current whether or not anybody remembered to update it.
Based in Albany, New York, we work with practices across all fifty states — and we still answer our own phone.

Configuration solves most problems. When it doesn't, we write software — custom portals, integrations with the tools you already file in. Most agencies stop at the edge of what their platform allows. That edge is where we start.
Your usage bills to you, transparently
Telephony and AI usage sit on your own billing profile with your own card — never pooled with another practice's, never a surprise line item. We show you exactly how it's set up before you go live.
We tell you when it isn't a fit
If your practice would be better served by something else, we'll say so on the demo call rather than sell you a subscription you'll cancel in March.
